Abstract:
SN 2025adj to be observed with STIS in the UV

SN 2025adjis scheduled be observed spectroscopically by the Hubble Space Telescope in the UV using the STIS CCD detectors on on Jan 30, 2025 23:41:03 as part of the Flexible Thursdays program of program GO-17788.  Gratings include G230LB, G430L, and G750L.  Since this will be a rare early-time observation of a Type II supernova with UV spectroscopy, observations at all wavelengths are encouraged.
