WFST251011tqbp (AT 2025aada) was detected by the 2.5-m Wide Field Survey Telescope (WFST; Wang, T., et al., 2023, SCPMA, 6609512) Deep High-cadence ugr-band Survey ("DHugr," Jiang, J.-a., et al. in prep) on October 11, 2025 (MJD: 60959.70). WFST251011tqbp was first detected on MJD: 60959.70 at g = 20.74 ± 0.04 mag. The transient is offset by 4.7” from a galaxy (redshift z = 0.0225 according to the Glade+ catalog in Dálya, G., et al., 2022). A 5-sigma g-band non-detection of ~ 21.0 mag on Oct 10 indicates that the brightness of WFST251011tqbp was increased by > 1.6 mag in g-band in the past two days.
Given the fast brightening of the transient, follow-up observations are encouraged.
This report is based on observations obtained with the 2.5-m Wide Field Survey Telescope (WFST) at Mt. Saishiteng, Lenghu, China. The WFST science products have been made possible through the contributions of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO).
