Ken Smith, Lluís Galbany, Mark Huber report/s a classification of object: SN 2020acmr
Type: SN II-pecRedshift: 0.04
Remarks: Spectrum matches possibly a young 1987A-like SN or young SN IIb. However, using the ATLAS Forced Photometry server to get a lightcurve indicates that the object has been slowly rising for 9 days. Have chosen type II-pec for the time being.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2020-12-13 09:00:00
Instrument: SNIFS
Telescope: UH 88inch
Remarks: The spectrum was obtained by the Spectral Classification of Astronomical Transients group at UH IfA.
