Date Received (UTC): 2025-11-20 09:14:34 Sender: Niko Pyykkinen
Group: None
Niko Pyykkinen (UTU/NOT), Takashi Nagao (NAOJ/UTU), Hanindyo Kuncarayakti (UTU) report/s a classification of object: SN 2025adje
Type: SN IIRedshift: 0.00796
Remarks: The spectral features match those of a young Type II SN at low redshift. We report the redshift stated in the Astronote (Berdayes et al.), originally determined by the FAST all sky H I survey (FASHI) Zhang et al. 2024. Follow-up observations are encouraged.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2025-11-18 00:00:00
Instrument: ALFOSC
Telescope: Nordic Optical Telescope
Remarks: The blue end of the spectrum <5000 Å is unreliable due to data reduction difficulties.
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://sandbox.wis-tns.org/object/2025adje
