Date Received (UTC): 2025-03-27 08:54:44 Sender: Aravind Pazhayath Ravi
Group: DLT40
Aravind P. Ravi (UC Davis), K. A. Bostroem, D. J. Sand, S. Valenti, J. Andrews, J. Pearson, S. Jha, M. Lundquist, E. Hoang, M. Shrestha, Y. Dong, D. Janzen, G. Hosseinzadeh, N. Meza, D. Mehta, A. Martas, B. Subrayan report/s a classification of object: SN 2025fvw
Type: SN Ia
Remarks: Matches a Type Ia via SNID (though one of the highest matches is at phase +12 days which is not consistent with the phase based on non-detection limits). A reliable classification was not obtained with GELATO. Presence of Ti trough suggests it is an underluminous SN Ia. Follow-up is encouraged.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2023-03-27 00:00:00
Instrument: Goodman
Telescope: Southern Astrophysical Research Telescope
