Date Received (UTC): 2025-08-30 08:46:21 Sender: Joe Lyman
Group: GOTO
M. Pursiainen, I. Worssam, D. O'Neill, J. Lyman, T. Killestein, K. Ackley, M. Dyer, K. Ulaczyk, D. Steeghs, D. Galloway, V. Dhillon, P. O'Brien, G. Ramsay, K. Noysena, R. Kotak, R. Breton, J. Casares, L. Nuttall, B. Godson, A. Kumar on behalf of GOTO collaboration report/s a classification of object: SN 2025wej
Type: SN IIRedshift: 0.016155
Remarks: Matches to young SN II. A bump around 4600A is consistent with the typical flash-ionised emission from N/C in young SN II. Strong galaxy lines contaminate the spectrum. Redshift from host (NED)
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2025-08-30 03:27:21
Instrument: ALFOSC
Telescope: Nordic Optical Telescope
