P. Pessi (NCBJ), A. Cikota (NOIRLab/Gemini South), V. Firpo (NOIRLab/Gemini South), F. Gran (NOIRLab/Gemini South), L. Magill (NOIRLab/Gemini South), D. May (NOIRLab/Gemini South), P. King (NOIRLab/Gemini South), K. Silva (NOIRLab/Gemini South), P. Candia (NOIRLab/Gemini South), R. Ruiz-Carmona (NOIRLab/Gemini South), S. Panda (NOIRLab/Gemini South), J. Font-Serra (NOIRLab/Gemini South), R. Angeloni (NOIRLab/Gemini South), V. Kalari (NOIRLab/Gemini South), C. Rodriguez (NOIRLab/Gemini South), J.-E. Heo (NOIRLab/Gemini South), E. Sabbi (NOIRLab), T. Ahumada (NOIRLab/ SOAR), R. Cartier (University of Antofagasta), S. Cikota (CAHA) report/s a classification of object: SN 2026nuh
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.056
Remarks: Spectral matching consistent with a SN Ia at around peak. Redshift from spectral matching agrees with the one reported for the associated host galaxy. The region between 7000AA and 8000AA was severely affected by artifacts and thus was removed from the spectrum without affecting the classification.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
